Lantronix SGETF Series 1000Base-T to 1000Base-LX Media Converter

Lantronix SGETF1014-110 is a stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media converter in the SGETF Series. It provides an interface between 1000Base-T RJ-45 copper and 1000Base-LX 1310nm single mode SC fiber, with 100 m/328 ft. copper distance and 10 km/6.2 mi. fiber distance. Operating at Layer 1, the physical layer, data is passed through the converter at line speed. The SGETF Series is intended for applications where low latency is essential and for integrating fiber optic cabling into 1000Base-T copper environments. Built-in features include Auto-MDI/MDIX, copper & fiber auto-negotiation, Transparent Link Pass Through, Automatic Link Restoration, Pause, and Remote Fault Detect. A 6-position switch provides controls for Remote Fiber Fault Detect, Symmetric Pause, Asymmetric Pause, Transparent Link Pass Through, Fiber Auto-Negotiation, and Loopback.
