About the Lantronix NTC-201 Series
The NTC-201 (also written NTC201) gives remote equipment a managed cellular uplink without a different router model for every region. One part number, NTC-201-01-01, covers 21 LTE bands from B1 to B66 and carries FCC, ISED, CE, RCM, PTCRB, AT&T and Verizon certifications. LTE Cat 1bis on 3GPP Release 13 delivers up to 10 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up, matched to telemetry and transaction traffic. Lantronix states that the supply chain is NDAA-compliant.
Hardware is sized for cabinets and enclosures: a 105 x 88 x 35 mm IP40 housing with DIN-rail and multi-orientation wall-mount brackets, -30°C to +70°C operation and 8 to 40 VDC input on a terminal block. A single SMA connector takes the included antenna, and an optional soldered MFF2 SIM avoids vibration failures. Routing features include static routes, port forwarding, VRRP, DHCP options and a DoS firewall, with IPsec for up to 5 tunnels, GRE and OpenVPN.
A Linux SDK runs custom ANSI C, shell or Lua applications on the 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB flash, so data can be processed at the source without a separate industrial computer. Fleets are managed through Percepxion with zero-touch provisioning, plus TR-069, LWM2M, SNMP v3, HTTPS web UI, SSH CLI and SMS commands. Lantronix positions its OTA update path as CRA-ready.

- Percepxion, TR-069 and LWM2M provide OTA firmware and configuration, and SMS commands can query signal strength, change APNs or reboot the router.
- Optional soldered SIM
- Alongside the 2FF Mini SIM slot, an optional ETSI MFF2 soldered SIM eliminates vibration-related SIM failures in traffic and surveillance installations.
How to choose the right NTC-201 Series part number
The NTC-201 Series has one router part number, NTC-201-01-01, which is the worldwide model for all supported LTE bands and carriers. The box includes the router, a cellular antenna, a 1 m Ethernet cable, DIN-rail bracket, horizontal DIN-rail adapter and a two-way terminal block, but no power supply. Add the PSU-0250 12 VDC 30 W wall-cube supply or the 25165 industrial DIN-rail supply. The NANT-00001-000 3 dBi LTE antenna with SMA male connector is available as a spare or replacement.

Is the NTC-201 certified for AT&T and Verizon?
Yes. The NTC-201-01-01 lists FCC, ISED, CE, RCM, PTCRB, AT&T and Verizon certifications. The same part number is used for deployments worldwide, so one certified device and one antenna cover North American and international sites.
What speeds does LTE Cat 1bis provide on the NTC-201?
The NTC-201 is an LTE FDD Cat 1bis, 3GPP Release 13 compliant device with downlink up to 10 Mbps and uplink up to 5 Mbps, suited to telemetry, payment and monitoring traffic.
Does the NTC-201 include a power supply?
