Overview

About the Lantronix SI-IES-1200-LRT

The SI-IES-1200-LRT (also written SI-IES-1200LRT) is a two-port hardened PoE+ injector. It powers a camera, access point or sensor from a non-PoE switch port. Data enters on the DATA IN RJ-45 port and leaves with power on the DATA OUT port, so a single cable carries both to the device. It is built for places a desktop injector can't go: pole-top and roadside cabinets, industrial panels and outdoor surveillance enclosures.

The PoE+ port is IEEE 802.3at compliant at up to 30 W and also supports 802.3af devices, at 10/100/1000 Mbps through a non-blocking architecture. Link Pass Through reflects the upstream link state to the powered side. The injector runs on 24-48 VDC, with separate LEDs for primary and backup power inputs. It draws 3.53 W without PoE and 33.36 W with one port powered.

The compact IP30 housing (30 x 95 x 140 mm) operates from -40°C to 75°C and mounts on DIN rail, with optional wall-mount brackets included. Certifications include UL508 safety, FCC Class A, CE and the EN61000-6-2 industrial immunity series, plus IEC 60068 vibration and free-fall testing.

Key capabilities

30 W PoE+
IEEE 802.3at output of up to 30 W on one port, backward compatible with 802.3af powered devices.
-40°C to 75°C rated
Hardened IP30 housing for outdoor cabinets and industrial panels, with storage from -40°C to 85°C.
Primary and backup power
Runs on 24-48 VDC, with separate PWR1 and PWR2 LEDs showing whether primary and backup power are connected.
Gigabit passthrough
10/100/1000 Mbps data through a non-blocking design, with Link Pass Through to signal upstream link loss.
Industrial certifications
UL508 safety, FCC Class A, CE, EN61000-6-2 immunity, and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration and IEC 60068-2-32 free-fall testing.

How to choose the right SI-IES-1200-LRT part number

SI-IES-1200-LRT is the injector itself: one 10/100/1000Base-T data input and one PoE+ data output. Two accessories complete a field installation. The 25130 is an industrial DIN-rail power supply delivering 48 VDC at 39.8 W, sized for the injector's 33.36 W full-load draw. The OCA-P181610 is an outdoor cabinet with vent, two DIN rails, ground and power terminal blocks, and data wire glands for building a weatherproof PoE point.

SI-IES-1200-LRT FAQ

How much power does the SI-IES-1200-LRT deliver?

Up to 30 W on its PoE+ port, compliant with IEEE 802.3at, and it also supports 802.3af devices. Total consumption with one PoE port loaded is 33.36 W.

What input voltage does the SI-IES-1200-LRT need?

24-48 VDC. LEDs show primary and backup power inputs. The 25130 DIN-rail supply provides 48 VDC at 39.8 W. Draw is 3.53 W without PoE and 33.36 W with PoE.

What temperature range is the SI-IES-1200-LRT rated for?

-40°C to 75°C operating and -40°C to 85°C storage, with 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity and altitude up to 10,000 ft, in an IP30 housing.

Does the SI-IES-1200-LRT support Gigabit Ethernet?

Yes. Both RJ-45 ports run 10/100/1000 Mbps through a non-blocking architecture, and Link Pass Through signals an upstream link loss to the device on the powered side.

How is the SI-IES-1200-LRT mounted?

On DIN rail, with optional wall-mount brackets included. It measures 30 x 95 x 140 mm and weighs 1.3 lbs, so it fits alongside other DIN-rail gear in compact cabinets.
