About the Lantronix SISGM1040-284-LRT
The SISGM1040-284-LRT (also written SISGM1040-284 or SISGM1040284LRT) is the data-only member of Lantronix's hardened DIN-rail switch line. Without a PoE stage it runs on a wide 12 to 48 VDC dual input and draws no more than 11 W, which suits cabinets and enclosures that already have 12 V or 24 V supplies. Eight 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports and four 100/1000 SFP slots connect local devices and fiber uplinks or rings on 24 Gbps store-and-forward switching.
The fanless IP30 unit operates from -40 to +75 C and lists FCC Class A, CE, UL, IEC/EN 62368-1 and NEMA TS-2 certifications, with an MTBF of 193,332 hours. Redundancy options include Rapid Ring, G.8032 ERPS, G.8031 linear protection, MRP, RSTP and MSTP. Security covers RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, L2/L3/L4 ACLs, DHCP snooping and IP Source Guard, with IEEE 1588 v2 PTP, IGMP and MLD snooping, 4K VLANs and static routing.
The switch is integrated with the Lantronix Percepxion cloud platform for device life cycle management, enterprise application integration and analytics. Its embedded DMS manager, reachable through Percepxion or the local web GUI, provides topology, floor map, device map and traffic monitoring views of every IP device, plus network diagnostics for troubleshooting.
