About the Lantronix SISTP1040-382-LRT
The SISTP1040-382-LRT (also searched as SISTP1040-382) powers and connects PoE devices at the edge of a hardened network where a managed switch is unnecessary. It has eight 10/100/1000Base-T ports that comply with IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af and can deliver up to 30 W per port, plus two 100/1000 dual-speed SFP slots for fiber uplinks. The two SFP ports can also daisy-chain switches together for network reliability.
The fanless switch is housed in a ruggedized IP30 metal enclosure and operates from -40°C to +75°C. Redundant 48 to 57 VDC power inputs include reverse power protection, and the unit carries UL Class 1 Division 2 certification for hazardous locations alongside CE, FCC Part 15 and IEC62368-1. Store-and-forward switching runs at 20 Gbps with a 4K MAC table, 9K jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet.
There is nothing to configure: connect power, cameras and uplinks, and LEDs report system, both power inputs and port status, with a reset button on the unit. The enclosure measures 44 x 130 x 135 mm and weighs 0.46 kg, so it fits narrow DIN-rail space in control panels and outdoor cabinets such as the OCA-P181610. A DIN-rail bracket is included, and wall mounting is an option.
