About the Lantronix SISTP1040-551-LRT
The SISTP1040-551-LRT (also written SISTP1040551LRT) is a plug-and-play way to power high-wattage devices in harsh locations. Its 360 W budget delivers a full 90 W to all four PoE++ ports at once under IEEE 802.3bt, and a DIP switch enables Power over HDBaseT (PoH) mode at 95 W per port. Lantronix cites PoE lighting, high-powered IP cameras and digital signage as typical loads, devices that draw more than the 30 W a PoE+ port supplies.
Ports are four 10/100/1000Base-T PoE++, one non-PoE 10/100/1000Base-T and one 100/1000Base-X SFP slot for a fiber uplink. Switching capacity is 12 Gbps with a 2K MAC table. DIP switches control the power alarm, broadcast storm limiting, 9K jumbo frames, PoH versus 802.3bt mode and PSE link pass-through. Being unmanaged, it needs no configuration to deploy.
Power input is 48-57 VDC on redundant inputs with reverse-polarity protection, with 54-57 VDC required for full PoE++ output. The fanless metal enclosure is IP30, includes a DIN-rail bracket with a wall-mount option, and operates from -40 °C to +75 °C. Safety certification covers UL 62368-1 and EN 62368-1, and Lantronix quotes an MTBF of more than 25 years.
