SGFEB1024-130 connects a 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 copper link to 1000Base-SX 1310nm Extended multimode fiber using an SC connector. The part row specifies 62.5/125mm fiber only, a 100 m/328ft. copper reach, fiber distance up to 2 km, and a 7.0 dB link budget. Lantronix positions the SGFEB Series as stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media and rate converters that provide rate conversion while also increasing transmission distances. Series features include Auto Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, Far End Fault (FEF), Remote Fault Detect, and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet. The unit is specified for 0°C to 50°C operating temperature, 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity, and 0 – 10,000 ft. altitude. Status LEDs report power, fiber link/activity, RJ-45 link/activity/duplex, and RJ-45 speed.
