Lantronix SGFEB1040-230 is a stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media and rate converter for 10/100/1000Base-T copper to 100/1000Base-X SFP fiber connections. This configuration provides one RJ-45 port and two empty SFP slots. The SGFEB Series provides rate conversion while also increasing transmission distances. It supports multimode or single mode fiber, with long haul transmission distances supported through a variety of SFP modules. Operational features include Auto Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, Far End Fault (FEF), and Remote Fault Detect. The SFP ports support dual speeds: 100/1000/SGMII.
