The Lantronix SGFEB1039-130 is a stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media and rate converter for 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 copper to 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode LC fiber. For multimode fiber, this configuration specifies 220 m/722 ft. on 62.5/125 um fiber and 550 m/1804 ft. on 50/125 um fiber, with an 8.0 dB link budget. The copper RJ-45 segment is listed for 100 m/328 ft. The SGFEB Series features Auto Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, Far End Fault (FEF), Remote Fault Detect, and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet. Status LEDs report power, fiber link/activity, RJ-45 link/activity/duplex, and RJ-45 speed. The converter uses 7.5 to 24 VDC power provided by a wide input AC wall mount adapter and has a 2.2 Watts power consumption.
