Lantronix SPOEB1013-105 is a stand-alone Fast Ethernet PoE media converter for 10/100Base-TX PoE (RJ-45) to 100Base-FX 1300nm multimode fiber with an SC connector. The copper side is listed for 100 m/328 ft.; the fiber side is listed for 2 km/1.2mi. with an 11.0dB link budget. The SPOEB Series combines data received over a fiber optic link with -48 VDC power, providing power to DTE Power Devices over unshielded twisted pair cable. The converters are Power Sourcing Equipment and are compatible with Powered Devices that comply with IEEE 802.3af. Feature controls include switch selectable port settings, Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, Far-End-Fault, and Automatic Link Restoration. With PSE/LPT enabled, a loss of Fiber RX disables PSE power output on the UTP port for 2 seconds to allow the remote device to re-initialize, known as Powered Device Reset.
