Lantronix SPOEB1040-105 is a stand-alone Fast Ethernet PoE media converter in the SPOEB Series. This configuration converts 10/100Base-TX PoE (RJ-45) [100 m/328 ft.] to a 100Base-X SFP Slot (empty). Lantronix AC powered PoE media converters combine data received over a fiber optic link with 48 VDC PSE Output Voltage, providing power to Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) Powered Devices (PD) over unshielded twisted pair cable. The converters are Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and are fully compatible with Powered Devices that comply with IEEE 802.3af. This feature enhanced model provides switch selectable and port settings, including Auto-Negotiation, Link Pass Through (LPT), PSE On/Off and PSE/LPT on/off. With PSE/LPT enabled, a loss of Fiber RX disables PSE power output on the UTP port for 2 seconds to allow the remote device to re-initialize, also known as Powered Device Reset.
