About the Lantronix SFP+ Modules
Lantronix's SFP+ Modules page (listed by Lantronix as SFP+Modules) is organized around the hardware that takes the optics rather than the modules themselves. It lists three switch platforms with 10G SFP+ slots, one of which also adds 25G SFP28, plus the power supplies and bracket that complete them. Use it to pick the host switch first, then size the SFP, SFP+ or SFP28 transceivers to the slot speeds and fiber runs on each model.
The SM12XPA is all fiber: twelve 1G/10G SFP+ slots and two 1G/10G/25G SFP28 slots, with an RJ-45 console port and no copper data ports. It accepts an optional secondary 250 W power supply with 100-240 VAC input. The LSS2200-8P combines eight 10/100/1000Base-T IEEE 802.3bt PoE ports with two multi-gig SFP+ slots that run at 10G, 5G, 2.5G or 1G. The SISPM1040-3000-L3 PoE+ switches pair copper access ports with both 100/1000Base-X SFP and 1G/10GBase-X SFP+ slots.
Power options differ by platform. The SISPM1040 models accept 52-57 VDC or 100-250 VAC. The LSS2200-8P is listed with two external supplies: the 25172 (960 W, 48-57 VDC output) and the 25160 (480 W, 48-55 VDC output), both accepting AC or DC input, plus the WMB-LSS wall mount bracket kit.

How to choose the right SFP+ Modules part number
Start with the host switch. SM12XPA-NA is the all-fiber 12 SFP+ plus 2 SFP28 switch; PS-AC-250-NA is its optional second supply. LSS2200-8P is the 8-port 802.3bt switch with two multi-gig SFP+ slots, powered by the 25172 or 25160 supply. SISPM1040-3248-L3 has 24 PoE+ ports, 4 SFP and 4 SFP+ slots; SISPM1040-3166-L3 has 16 PoE+ ports, 4 SFP and 2 SFP+. The suffix sets the power cord (NA, LA, EU, UK, SA, JP, OZ, BR). Note that -SA means South America on SM12XPA but South Africa on SISPM1040.

Which Lantronix switches have SFP28 slots?
On this page, only the SM12XPA. It has two 1G/10G/25G SFP28 slots next to twelve 1G/10G SFP+ slots and an RJ-45 console port. The LSS2200-8P and SISPM1040-3000-L3 switches top out at 10G SFP+ uplinks.
What speeds do the LSS2200-8P SFP+ slots support?
Lantronix describes them as multi-gig SFP+ slots running at 10G, 5G, 2.5G or 1G. The switch has two of them, plus eight 10/100/1000Base-T ports with IEEE 802.3bt PoE.
How many SFP+ slots does the SISPM1040-3000-L3 have?
It depends on the model. The 24-port SISPM1040-3248-L3 has four 1G/10GBase-X SFP+ slots and four 100/1000Base-X SFP slots. The 16-port SISPM1040-3166-L3 has two SFP+ slots and four SFP slots.
What power supply does the LSS2200-8P use?
