Lantronix M/GE-T-SX-01-LA is a Mini Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter in the M/GE-T Series. It converts 1000Base-T (RJ-45) to 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode fiber with an SC interface. This SKU supports 100m/328 ft. on the copper side. Fiber reach is listed at 220 m/722 ft. on 62.5/125 µm fiber and 550 m/1804 ft. on 50/125 µm fiber, with a 7.0 dB link budget. The M/GE-T Series includes Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Automatic Link Restoration, Fiber Link Pass Through and status LEDs for easy monitoring. Lantronix lists the series as 65% smaller than a standard media converter.
