About the Lantronix SM24TBT2DPB
The SM24TBT2DPB, part of the family Lantronix documents as SM24TBT2DPx, puts 24 10/100/1000 copper ports, each capable of IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ at up to 90 W, behind a 52 Gbps switching fabric. Two 100/1000 dual-speed SFP/RJ-45 combo ports handle uplinks over fiber or copper. It is built for loads that outgrow PoE+ budgets, such as PTZ cameras, multi-radio wireless access points and PoE lighting.
Power is modular and hot-swappable. With one PS-ACDC-1200, the PoE budget is 900 W on AC low-line or 1,080 W on high-line; with two, it reaches 1,800 W or 2,160 W, enough for full PoE++ on all 24 ports. The PS-ACDC-1200 also accepts 192 to 334 VDC HVDC input. The -920 builds use the PS-AC-920 for applications that mix PoE+ and PoE++ ports rather than running all 24 at 90 W.
Management covers web, CLI, Telnet and SNMP v1/v2c/v3, with RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, L2/L3/L4 ACLs, IGMP snooping, MSTP/RSTP, Rapid Ring and up to 4k VLANs with QinQ. The built-in Device Management System draws topology, floor and map views, and the switch integrates with the Lantronix Percepxion cloud platform.

- Hot-swappable redundant power
- Two modular power supply bays support redundancy and failover. Supplies can be replaced without powering down the switch, keeping cameras and access points online.
- AC or HVDC input
- The PS-ACDC-1200 accepts 100 to 120 VAC, 200 to 277 VAC, and HVDC low-line 192 to 254 VDC or high-line 306 to 334 VDC.
- PoE control features
- PoE scheduling, Always on PoE, Ultra-fast PoE, Auto Power Reset and LLDP-MED configuration let you control when and how each powered device receives power.
- Built-in device mapping
- The Device Management System, reachable through the local web manager or Percepxion, provides topology, floor and map views, traffic monitoring and network diagnostics.
- Layer 2 security stack
- RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, SSH and SSL, MAC and IP ACLs, IP Source Guard and port security protect the access layer.
